ROBYN WILSON

I'm a busy mom of two who loves to help other women look and feel their best and I've completely fallen in love with the world of semi-permanent makeup and a big fan of keeping true to natural features.

whether you're looking for thicker, more fuller brows, or correcting assymetry, my semi-permanent services are a great choice.

POLICIES

Please read through our studios Policies and Terms & Conditions. We have the right to kindly refuse service to anyone according to our T&C's and policies.

BOOKING POLICIES

BOOKINGS: All paid bookings require a valid credit card. Nothing is charged at the time of booking.

TOUCH UP: A touch up appointment is required for every PMU appointment to re-visit any areas that did not take from the first session, adjust the color etc. It is required to have your follow-up appointment within 6-8 weeks of your original procedure. The cost for the touch up appointment is $150.

If you fail to come in for your touch up within that time frame you may be charged more. Please note: We do not provide touch ups for other artists work.

PREVIOUS WORK: It is required to send a photo in for approval before booking. Failure to do so will result in potential “day of cancellation” charge of 30% of the service value. Not all work can be covered. Previous work must be 70%-90% faded before working over it and it will most likely need additional touch ups to fully cover the previous work. You must send photos even if you think they are faded.

LATE POLICY: Please try your best to show up on time. I completely understand that life happens but being 15 minutes late will cut into the next appointment. If you are running late, please give me a call or text at (514) 264-5932 so we can make arrangements. Being more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a “day of cancellation" and is subject to a late cancelation fee of 30% of the total service fee.

RESCHEDULES/CANCELLATIONS: Cancel for free up to 48 hours ahead, otherwise you will be charged 30% of the service price for late cancellation or 100% for not showing up. One reschedule is allowed with a minimum of 48 hours notice before your appointment. Rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment will result in you being charged 30% of the service price.

NO CALL & NO SHOWS: By booking you agree to pay 100% of the service should you No-Show and miss your appointment without notice. Please understand No Showing your appointment is taking time away from other clients, it's money out of our pockets and is disrespecting our time with no prior notice. I try to accommodate you the best that I can so this doesn't happen; I send out a confirmation email, 2 reminder emails and reminder text. If you no show, you will not be allowed to book with Blush & Brow Beauty for a future appointment.

NO GUESTS/KIDS: Our private studio is small. Please do not bring any guests or children with you to your appointment. They will be asked to wait outside. Thank you for understanding.

REFUND POLICY: We have a strict non-refund policy. Once the service is completed there is a non-refundable & non-negotiable service fee. Unless under rare occasions & conditions determined by Blush & Brow Beauty.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

DISCLAIMER: Please understand every skin type is very different from each other and we cannot guarantee successful results on everyone. Though it’s typical that Permanent Makeup is a two appointment process, SOME skin types may require additional touch ups and healed results vary from person to person. Lifestyle, genetics, skin care, skin type, medications, aftercare etc… all impact your healed results and retention. The Client is responsible for doing their research on the services they are requesting to be performed.

Clients must read through our T&C's, policies and contraindications and sign the client consent form prior to completing the procedure.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

candidates who are seeking permanent makeup and who may be contraindicated (meaning those that we cannot perform services on) are:

  • UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE
  • PREGNANT or NURSING – Although there is no medical evidence that tattooing would have any effect on an unborn child, we don’t know for sure. At Blush & Brow Beauty we suggest you err on the side of caution and come back after the baby is born and you are no longer nursing.
  • TRANSMITTABLE BLOOD CONDITIONS… such as HIV, Hepatitis, West Nile, or any other infection.
  • CHEMOTHERAPY/RADIOTHERAPY or ACTIVE SKIN CANCER… Must get clearance from your doctor before considering permanent make-up.
  • ON ACCUTANE, RETIN A, AHA’s (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoic and tartaric acids) or any OTC creams and lotions for tone correcting, anti-aging, exfoliating, fading can discolor your permanent makeup… Topical steroids thin the skin. Depending on the stage your skin is at, it may be too fragile to undergo procedure. Will need to let your artist know of any previous or current use of products used/intake upon booking the appointment. You should get clearance from your doctor before considering permanent make-up and do your research to preparing and rescheduling your appointment accordingly.
  • ON PRESCRIPTION STRENGTH MEDICATION OR TREATMENTS…that affect the dermal layer of the skin can affect the permanent make-up.
  • ON ANTICOAGULANTS… (blood thinners) long term use of aspirin, ibuprofen and some herbs reduce clotting time resulting in increased bleeding and bruising, which will affect the implantation of pigment as well as increase the healing time.
  • HAVE AN AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE… Such as Lupus, MS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, etc. You should get clearance from your doctor before considering permanent make-up.
  • DIABETIC…If you are insulin dependent, you are not a candidate for permanent make-up. Healing could be compromised and take longer than average. Otherwise, if your doctor feels your condition is under control you may request a letter stating that you are able to undergo cosmetic tattooing.
  • BLOOD DISORDERS… that affect clotting such as hemophilia, sickle cell anemia and platelet disorders could interfere with implantation of pigment, however it is possible to receive successful implantation of semi permanent cosmetics.
  • MITRAL VALVE PROLAPSE, ARTIFICIAL HEART VALVES, OR ARTIFICIAL JOINTS… or any person that requires prophylactic antibiotics before dental or other procedures will need consult their physician for treatment prior to permanent make-up.
  • SKIN DISEASES… such as psoriasis, eczema and undiagnosed rashes or blisters on the site that is to be treated.
  • HAVE ANY OTHER HEART CONDITIONS… uncontrolled high blood pressure and poor general health would be special concern, you will need to see your physician and discuss the procedure to gain pre-approval.
  • HERPES SIMPLEX… People who get fever blisters and/or cold sores may experience an outbreak after procedures. It’s imperative that you discuss the procedure with your physician before the procedure and receive proper instructions how to prevent an outbreak post procedure. Most physicians will offer a prescription for Zovirax or Valtrex to take prior to and after procedure.
  • KELOID OR HYPERTROPHIC SCARRING…Persons with tendencies for this type of scarring have the same risk with tattoo also. The risk is mainly in the torso area, however, we may decide to do a patch test to ensure that you do not scar in this manner.
  • If there are any blemishes, pimples, active cold sores, irritation of the skin of any kind, moles or other skin imperfections in or around the area of the procedure, we will not be able to do the procedure until the blemish or area of concern is gone or the mole is removed and healed.
  • If excessive bleeding occurs, extra appointments may be necessary for desired outcome or procedure may not be effective.

You must wait if you’ve recently had:

  • EYE SURGERY. If you have had Lasik, Cornea repair, etc. you will need to wait at least 6 months before permanent makeup procedure around your eyes.
  • SCARS from surgery or injury must be healed for at least one year prior to service.
  • You must avoid Retinoids 7 days prior to appointment and avoid or around the area for 30 days after. If used before 30 days, it can cause the pigments to fade prematurely. Accutane users must be off it a whole year or given a clearance note by their doctor.
  • Botox or fillers around the desired procedure area within 8 weeks.
  • Eye lift or blepharoplasty.
  • Pinkeye: As soon as their infection has cleared & medication completed.
